Equity not Equality
Imagine a race where everyone starts at the same point. Equality would mean giving everyone the same size shoes, regardless of the individual foot sizes. On the other hand EQUITY recognises that people have different needs, so it would involve providing shoes tailored to each person’s foot, ensuring everyone has a fair chance to run the race.
